PLD Space is a private Spanish aerospace company founded in 2011 with the objective of developing low cost launch vehicles. Currently, the company is developing two models of rockets, Miura 1 and Miura 5, with suborbital and orbital capabilities for the small payloads market.

Miura 1 is a suborbital rocket from the family Miura. It has 1 stage and is able to launch up to 200 kg in a suborbital trajectory (with an apogee of 250 km, experiencing 7 minutes of microgravity). It uses one Neton 1 engine that produces 30 kN and uses RP-1 (kerosene) and LOX (liquid oxygen). Its first test is supposed to occur sometime in 2021 from El Arenosillo, Huelva, Spain.

Miura 5 is a rocket in development by PLD Space. It is a three stage orbital rocket that measures 18 meters and weighs 7000 kg. It can deliver up from 50 to 150kg to LEO (an orbit of 250 km max).
